Like Divergent, Insurgent is utterly addictive. I was immediately drawn to the story and devoured it greedily in one sitting. It has everything I look for: fast paced action packed plot, good characterisation, unexpected twists and thought-provoking situations. If you haven't read Divergent, do read it first as Insurgent picks up where it left off and doesn't bring the uninitiated reader up to speed by recapping.
