What Members Thought
I read this because it's one of the "great classics." I didn't care very much for it. I didn't understand the relationship between Connie and Mellors. They really had nothing in common other than their love of sex. He didn't actually want a baby, he didn't seem to really like her very often, and they never had real conversations. I'm sure there is some point being made about humans being animalistic and that being enough, but it didn't connect for me and I found the ending lacking.
