Well. That was. Something. I can't say I hated it. There were parts that I found interesting, but on the whole I find myself wondering what so many people love about this book. Maybe they don't actually love it...

This book was a little painful to get through, but also dramatic and interesting? I’m going to join the majority and say that Heathcliff was jerk and I didn’t like him. I felt sympathy for him in the beginning, but he quickly destroyed that. His almost kindness (???) to Nelly made him tolerable, and he and Catherine deserve each other.

The only part I actually liked was the end. And I was still even kinda mad about that because it was really stupid how the people were even put in those positions. It's crazy how the way you treat someone leads to events years and years down the road. Still didn't really get it I guess.
