I am a huge nerd and a geek. Ready Player One felt like it was totally written by and for people of the same nature. I loved the idea of the entire world collapsing while people escape into the 'fantasy' world of the Oasis, which is a global social media platform that every single person uses one way or the other - even children get to study in the virtual school in the Oasis.

The main character and the other supportive characters are very well defined and felt real. The impressive quoting of 80' ...more

Shelves: adrenaline, sci-fi, adventure, ya, futuristic, 2020-audio-books

I had no idea what to expect, but I had so much fun reading (or listening) this. I laughed and cheered and cried with These characters. Each victory was my own and each defeat or set back caused my breathe to become jagged. Highly recommend as I mentioned earlier.
