I forgot to rate this book... Im glad I waited anyway. When I first finished it, I was like most people: sad, mad, and shocked. But after reading the reasons behind it all, I grew a new respect for the book, the whole series, and the author. It was beautifully written. Everyone gets upset because the ending was insane, but when you stop and look at it, the story was fulfilled greatly.

The first book was good. The second, not so much. And this book? it sucked
Why do people even bother reading it? When I read the first few pages, I thought "Oh boy, here comes another boring book (kind of like the Harry Potter books)"

Name? Unexpected, but very good novel. I didnt like the change between Tobias and Tris. Tobias's parts seem so off and out off place like Tobias doesnt fit into the picture. i especially hated the scene of the bowls when Tris is racing to stop Edward from smashing it. tris should have told it from her point of view because from Four's it sounded like a static conversation. "Tris hurts her elbow. Christina helps her, Tris seems okay."

4.5 actually. I liked this book since there were some major character developements. Cara, Caleb, Tobias, Tris... etc. All of them learned from their mistakes and their behaviors were more controlled and planned. Of course, Tris still wanted to do what first popped into her mind but Tobias wouldn't let her.
The ending was devestating but I still think that It was the best ending Divergent series could possibly have. I love your books Roth!! Please do write more:) ...more
