This was an amazing story. I love this series anyway, and was so excited when I finally got a hold of it. In this book, you learn a lot more about the characters back ground and they develop in more personal ways. The bonds in this story between characters strengthens, including Eragon and Sapphira, Eragon and Arya, and between Eragon's cousin (whose name just left my mind), Eragon, and Katrina. It was a exciting 3rd book I thought that the series was done but he said in the back of the book that he was working on another one and that it would be out soon so I started to read another dragon series but it is not even as close to being as good as the eragon series But I'm just about done with the other series and I can't wait to Inheritance It is the finally book in the eragon series By the time I finish my book I should be able to read it.

This isn't the most exciting instalment of Eragon's grand adventure, so I find it difficult to recommend, unless you're a fan of the cycle or desire a slower pace in your fantasy reading.
