It will be a top book on my list. Humorous, scary, believable, and downright illustrious! A first-rate writer! It flowed, gripped and astounded me with every single page! WOW!
I’ve had this one on my list for a while and bumped it up when news of a movie hit; I wanted to read the book first. After quite a few pages in, I was thinking, “There’s no way I can take eleven hours of all this technical mumbo jumbo!!” Don’t get me wrong, the amount of research the author did was amazing, and a majority of the facts were quite interesting. On a recommendation I read this book and I am so glad I did. The Martian by Andy Weir was fantastic. It's about a man who gets separated from his crew on Mars during a dust storm. Thinking he is dead his crew leaves him behind. The story is about Mark Watney who is a botanist and an engineer. With his brains, creativity and humor he overcomes many obstacles about living on Mars. That's all I will say without giving it all away.
