What Members Thought
I read the book and it wasn’t for me, in what I normally read. I loved how some parts of the book are able to fit together like a puzzle. Such as the gems in the wine bottles, (won’t spoil to much but those were important)
The power scaling didn’t make much sense, like how Laura was able to beat up (I think?) 5 of Ahnna armed guard and bring her to a headlock. This is a grounded fantasy novel, and in terms of being grounded, no one is beating up half a dozen people in less than a minute.
