I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Is it a tad predictable and filled with some typical tropes? Yes.

But those tropes are done well enough that I truly did not mind.

I love Danielle Jensen’s debut, The Stolen Songbird, so much. I was really addicted to that trilogy, I spent every minute I could talking about it. And every time I think of that end my heart still stops. But I took some time to read The Bridge Kingdom because I understood it would be a bit diferent of what I like. I’m not a huge fan of romantasy. I like romance in the books but if it is considered fantasy, I need way more than that. And I was afraid this book will not correspond to my expectati ...more
