Very vivid characters and a story line that lends itself to series. I wonder if that was what the author/publisher had in mind. I want to find out what happens to Easter and I'm fully convinced that Marina is pregnant. There are many ethical issues to ponder in this wonderful novel.

This is an amazing book..I think you won't be disappointed.
What I did want to mention is that Ann Patchett along with
Karen Hayes is opening an independent book store in Nashville, Tn.
I do hope anyone living in the area..or even close will go and

I almost loved this. It ended too soon.
Loved this! I have loved Ann Patchett ever since I read The Patron Saint of Liars when my son was a newborn (18 years ago . . .).
This book actually ended up better than I thought it would be. Interesting tale, somewhat predictable, but a compelling read.
Unfortunately for me this book did not live up to the hype. I found it pretty flat and boring.
