I rather figured out the ending when the main character took his cat with him. Linus Baker never did anything uncharacteristic but taking Calliope was uncharacteristic. But you know something? That didn’t change the experience of the book at all. What an utterly delightful special story! I usually don’t like love stories. I loved this one. I don’t usually like religious stories (the Antichrist plays an important role) but I loved Lucy, which is short for Lucifer. I usually don’t read queer stori
