Great, great book. I was surprised by Eveline's condition, and it made for such an interesting and refreshing read. Loved it! She was a heoine with pluck, spirit, incredible courage and heart. I adored her. Graeme was such an amazing hero and leader. Not perfect, but perfect for Eveline. There's a scene in the end that brought tears to my eyes. I can't wait for the next book. ...more

I think this is one of my favorite Scottish Highland books. I wish Maya Banks wrote more from this time period because she kicks ass.

Amazing!!!!!!!!!! I recieved a copy of this book for free through FIRST READS.
