So I'm not going to lie, Managed is a comfort-food book, in which almost nothing surprising or particularly new happens, and yet, you will enjoy spending time with its characters and you wish them all the best as you get to the last page. While there is conflict from time to time, I have to say, they were usually brief, and got resolved faster than I can blink an eye and shout "What's going on here?!" 4.5 Sunshine/Chatty Girl Stars!!!

Sophie Darling is happy as can be. Not only is she flying to a potential job, she is upgraded 1st class and there is a drop dead gorgeous man sitting next to her. It doesn’t take long to realize the gorgeous man next to her is not only gorgeous, but obnoxious as well. Gabriel “Scottie” Scott is not happy when he learns he has a seat mate to contend with, and she is “chatty”. It isn’t until the plane hits turbulence, Gabriel appreciates the fact it might not be so 4.5 Sunshine/Chatty Girl Stars!!!

Sophie Darling is happy as can be. Not only is she flying to a potential job, she is upgraded 1st class and there is a drop dead gorgeous man sitting next to her. It doesn’t take long to realize the gorgeous man next to her is not only gorgeous, but obnoxious as well. Gabriel “Scottie” Scott is not happy when he learns he has a seat mate to contend with, and she is “chatty”. It isn’t until the plane hits turbulence, Gabriel appreciates the fact it might not be so bad after all when “Chatty Girl” gets him through the turbulence. Things take a turn when realize they will be working together.

I absolutely adored Sophie. She was smart and sassy with just the right bit of attitude. The banter between Sophie had me giggling throughout the book. Even though she has the beautiful strong exterior, she struggled with feelings of “not being good enough” . When Gabriel suggest a “friendship of sorts” she has to guard her heart to protect it from this man, because she is determined to break down his walls and find out why he is so distant and afraid.

Gabriel is cold and demanding. Yes, he may be gorgeous, but his heart is stone cold. His childhood prepared him for a lonely life, until he meets Sophie. He doesn’t understand why he feels the way he does towards this adorable, fun loving woman. In time, his cold heart starts to thaw.

I absolute loved this book. The banter between Sophie and Scottie has me smiling throughout the book. Most m/f books, the “h” drives me crazy with her stupidity, but not Sophie. The only problem I had was at the end, there was some drama that was not necessary and could have been avoided if she communicated. All in all, great story and I highly recommend it!!

5 sunshine & chatty girl stars!

Loved, loved, loved this one!

The first 3 chapters had me so thoroughly entertained with their first meeting and being trapped on an airplane together. The chemistry was instant even through there was animosity towards each other. The witty banter, sarcastic cuts to each other and snarky comebacks had me laughing out loud.

After reading Idol and enjoying it. I just had to read Managed. For me personally this one is slightly better than the first book. No seriously I mean it. I highlighted this book so much. I enjoy KC writing style and as with the Darkest London series as with this series as well she can do no wrong. She creates a fabulous world with highs and lows of the music world that what we see and read is realistic. I felt happy and smiling like a goof at the humour and the next second I was angry and then After reading Idol and enjoying it. I just had to read Managed. 4 Sunshine & Chatty Girl Stars.

Sophie Darling believes that Lady Luck is on her side when it comes to being bumped up to first class. On her way to London to interview for a new job she meets the sexy yet cool Brit.

I love Sophie she is strong, sassy but she has a vulnerable side. Making a terrible mistake she tries to rectify it. I felt for her when it came to what she went through. But she was also setup. She earns the forgiveness and gains a family and friends.

Gabriel “Scottie” Scott is the manager to the most famous band in the world Kill John. He is controlled and never dates anyone who likes Kill John. He is grumpy, ruthless and an arse but a loveable arse. And a total geek under all that cool exterior.

He is twenty-nine going on ninety. Beneath the harsh exterior is a man who wants to belong who wants to love and who wants to not feel abandoned. Life fascinates him yet he just doesn’t know how to show it.

He is gobsmacked when one of his seats has been booked and that he has a neighbour who can witness his utter humiliation because he doesn’t like to fly. They cuddle and snuggle on the flight and then it gets weird when Gabriel finds out that she is his new employee. He hasn't ever had a relationship and doesn’t know how to lead one. They spend an innocent night together and they have the best sleep of their life. So while on tour they came to an arrangement. They share a tour bus to get some sleep.

These two are absolutely adorable together. This is a slow burn romance as the build-up is immense, their first kiss is at 67 % and they get down and dirty for the rest of the 30 % of the book and boy are they dirty. But for me personally the build-up was dragged out just too much. That is why I can only give it 4 stars and the ending of what was going to happen was pretty obvious.

The shit literally hits the fan when they come into a situation. And Gabriel is the prat of the frigging century. We all want to be accepted for who we are flaws and all. He cocks it up big time but his grand gesture is cute and self-sacrificing but could have been more IMO.

I can’t wait for the next in the series.

Re-reading before Jax's story. I still love Gabriel and Sophie. Can't wait to see more from them in Fall.

I loved the humor, the bantering between all the characters and just about everything else about this book. Honestly, I had one problem with this book and it's not something I equate with Kristen's books. I think that's why the editing errors stood out so much for me. Repeated paragraph, grammar errors and obvious editing fixes actually made me stop and go back or look again because I don't r ...more
