-The setup was so fun. Sophie and Gabriel meet with Sophie’s upgraded to first class for that long flight to London to meet a potential employer and Gabriel is on his way to meet up with the rock band he manages, Kill John. The teasing and bickering captured my attention from the very first moment and there’s enough sexual tension as a lovely undertone to it all that kept me turning that page. I love Gabriel, I love Sophie and their meeting on the plane was hysterical. I love the entire Kill John gang and all the music references, and I felt like I was on tour with them all. BUT this takes the term slow burn romance to a whole other level and I couldn’t really buy into it due to the fact that they were literally “sleeping “ together every night. NOPE I didn’t like that part but still enjoyed the story.

Re-reading before Jax's story. I still love Gabriel and Sophie. Can't wait to see more from them in Fall.

I loved the humor, the bantering between all the characters and just about everything else about this book. Honestly, I had one problem with this book and it's not something I equate with Kristen's books. I think that's why the editing errors stood out so much for me. Repeated paragraph, grammar errors and obvious editing fixes actually made me stop and go back or look again because I don't r ...more
