Okay confession time… Honor is the first book that I have read from Jay Crownover. I know, I know… Jay Crownover fans are probably screaming at me why did it take me so long to finally read one of her books. Well, don’t worry after reading Honor, Jay Crownover has my complete undivided attention now.

This was just an ok read for me. I loved the blurb when I came across it, but for some reason I just couldn't get into the story. Maybe it has to do with the fact that I've only read the first book of the Point series so I wasn't as familiar with the characters. I didn't have a connection with them and although Nasir was supposed to be this badass guy, It didn't come across as believable. I was expecting the suspense to be more intense as well. Regardless... I've loved the Marked Men and Saints

I have been waiting so long to read Nassir's story. We finally get a deeper look into this dark soul. I bow down to Jay for building such a captivating backstory for Nassir. It was clear that she really wanted us to understand his past in order to understand his current life. Key and Nassir create sparks when they're together, yet they've never crossed a line. Why do they continue to hold back? and how long can that last?

We met Nassir in the previous Points books. We also met Honor as well. I really didn't like either character much then. After reading this, I actually do like them both now.
I loved getting the backstory of Nassir and how, and where, he grew up. He has never been loved before. He is the devil, but can the devil actually have a heart?
Can he be a real boy?
Only Key can bring that side out of him, but she ran from him.
I can completely understand why Key ran and why she was so scared to be with Nass ...more
