So this was the book that was chosen by the book club members at my school for this month. I'd like to clarify this was not one of the two books I voted upon and was discouraged from the start. I gave it shot though and as I expected, I was disappointed.

This is way different than anything I've ever read by David Levithan before. That definitely doesn't equal a dislike though. I really, really liked this book and especially how it could be totally happy on one page and then be like a stab through the heart on the next. I normally hate books that move around in time in this way but for once it didn't disturb me a lot. Knowing the very painful ending to the book gave the romance a whole new dimension. ...more
