Damn, I liked how original this story was. It was different to a lot of the things I've read recently. Tarver is such a hardcore sweetheart and Lilac is much stronger than I anticipated her to be. I loved the setting and how there were a few times where I totally couldn't see where they were going with the plot. At times, it dragged along a bit much, but overall I did like the pace of the book.

Shelves: gorgeous-cover, guilty-pleasure-win, cover-asks-you-to-own-it, oh-the-hero, lovetheworld, i-need-to-read-the-sequel-now, funnehhh, own, scifi, gives-you-goosebumps

Started out strong, I even wanted to give it 4 stars because I love the concept of surviving a plane crash in high heels XD. But second half part of the book threw me off. It straight out weird and doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Hence, the three stars. ...more
