This book honestly surprised me. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. When I first went into this book I just thought it was going to be all about the challenges in the game "Panic" and I was happy to see that it wasn't just about that. I loved the contemporary feel to this book. It had my heart racing at times in fear, but it also had me feeling all warm inside. The love in this novel was so cute!! Wow really loved and enjoyed this book. Have to admit it did start off pretty slow. However, about page 100 and on, the action and pace really picked up. Found myself not being able to put it down around page 300 or so.

Loved the style of writing. I loved how blunt and real the family situations were for both Heather and Dodge. Although, they were very similar they were still heart wrenching in their own ways.

It took me a little while to actually get into this book. Once, I finally got more interested and the book got more intense, I couldn't stop reading. Personally, I would have been terrified to compete in Panic. Overall, it was a good read, but it was predictable. ...more
