Panic was an excellent read. each challenge in games were intense making my heart race every time. overall I give it a 3.5/5 stars.
I absolutely hated Nat. I though she was suspicious from the start,then when she made the deal with heather and then with dodge it just confirmed my suspicions and hatred towards her. I thought she was a coward and naive throughout the whole book. Now don't get me started on Nat and the challenges. my god was she useless! Pathetic! Absolutely pathetic! she did nothin ...more

I really want to like this author. I read Before I Fall and I just didn't love it as much as other people. But this one sounded right up my alley, and it has one of my favorite covers ever, so I've had it on my list for a while. But for some reason, I just didn't love this one, either. It had a lot of things I like--realistic teenagers, grittiness, poverty, real issues. But the plot-heavy treatment didn't allow for a lot of exploration of those issues.
