I hadn't heard of this book or the author before, so I didn't know there was any hype surrounding it.
It was on the list of reading for a Bookclub so I picked it as it's not normally something I would go for.
I think the premise of the book is quite compelling - a caseworker investigating an orphanage for magical children, however, it the story, and the world surrounding it, felt flat to me.

3.5 stars. A lovely fantasy tale perfect for a YA audience.
Magical children in an orphanage. An investor named Linus- a man who follows all of the rules.
Arthur - their caretaker.
