This a book which deals with the interesting idea of how much of who we are is connected with how we literally see ourselves and how others see us. When that image is stripped away, what of us remains? The main character thinks light of his situation at first, but then discovers as do others, how little tethered to reality and morality he actually is.

“Herbert George “H.G.” Wells has been called the father of Science Fiction (along with Jules Verne)”… this is how the preface of my copy opened. It was an introduction by a nameless writer that piqued my interest and hiked up my expectations of the story.

I was definitely glad this book was free in my iPhone Kindle app. It was an interesting read in that one would wonder what it would be like to be invisible. However the invisible man turned out to be very angry and want to have a reign of terror on others. Although a creative idea, just not my kind of book.
