I don't scare easily, as a general rule. I've written some pretty graphic things in my stories and only had nightmares for a while. But this book was terrifying. I had to read it as fast as I could so it couldn't get me. It's one of those books that you maybe don't want to read during deer season in the Pacific Northwest. In a rural area.
