What Members Thought

This was one of those books that I'd always planned to get around to reading - as a result, it sat on my to-read shelf for an embarrassingly long time.
What a mistake!
There are so many layers to this book - it's not just a book about a horse race, though it's that too. It's not a book about the hard lives of those living on an island somewhere in the UK/Ireland region around the turn of the century, though you'll find that in there as well.
