What Members Thought
This was such a fantastic magical book from beginning to end. It was so well orchestrated, with all it's many twists and turns. Although there are many jumps from future to past, the writing is so well put together, the time differences just add to the adventure. This book is a perfect combination of magic, romance, fairy tale, and mystery, that leaves no end to imagination!

It does not fill me with joy to have to write this review, but having experienced two false starts with this novel, I feel it's time.
Despite not being grabbed by the synopsis, I really wanted to read this book as it received such great reviews on Goodreads. But although I enjoyed the luxurious writing and descriptions, I felt the story as a whole was lacking, due to the lack of connection I felt towards the characters. I.Love.This.Book.
Love it. And yeah, I'd marry it, too.
Less often than I'd like, I'm able to completely and utterly immerse myself into a read that becomes more than a story; it becomes an alternate universe contrived of literary beauty and striking aesthetic elements.
I found my own little universe in The Night Circus.
The images Morgenstern crafts are beautiful and cinematic and just plain mesmerizing. I devoured pages of gorgeous adjectives and colorful descriptors while the story painted itse ...more
