WOW! I was humbled by each page I read, by this very emotional memoir of Jeannette Walls. As a reader your heart breaks for all the Walls children as they grow up against the odds with parents whose flaws render them unable to raise children, yet through Wall's honesty in her writing, the reader is able to see the vulnerability of her parents & form empathy and compassion. Jeanette Walls is a brilliant writer and I think ' The Glass Castle' is a must read! ...more
