I’m a horror fan but I need to be in the mood for a zombie book, I wasn’t when I picked this up, but then so many good ratings from so many friends and I was intrigued.
I have to say I fell in love with Melanie pretty much right off the bat. She was charming and innocent and still just this little girl who loved her teacher and wanted to be loved in return. Not all the other character’s are as well fleshed out as Melanie it’s true, but they still manage to add to the story.
