Surprisingly this is my first Agatha Christie novel, but I enjoyed it so much that I ended up putting a handful of her books on hold at my library to pick up this coming week. This was fascinating but I will say it would have been even more enjoyable if I did not already know how it ended. Not because of the movie (I have not seen the movie) but because other mystery books I have read mentioned the ending of this book so that kind of ruined the ending for me or I could have seen it as a great tw ...more

4.5 stars- a bit slow in the beginning, but like all good Christie novels it had me guessing until the very end. I love how complex her plots are and how many red herrings and lies she weaves into the clues so that it's incredibly difficult to figure out what has occurred. What's even more admirable is that she's written countless books, and I'm still amazed and surprised by her revelations at the end. I loved this! ...more

This wasn't as super enjoyable as I had expected. Maybe because everything happens in the train and the suspect interviews which covered almost the entire book made it not so interesting for me. I do admit that I did not guess the murderer(s) correctly as usual although I did think that more than 1 was involved and the few red herrings really did their job in distracting my guesses. ...more

This Agatha Christie mystery is a who dun it that kept me guessing until the very end. Ms. Christie is a master of suspense.
