I can't even...
I am truly shocked I didn't like this. "Red Queen" was one of my favorite books and I was expecting the same feeling I had when I read that one. Mare was beyond all bearing. She was annoying and a pain to read about. The story was slooow and really boring with a lot of useless information about things that I was not interested in. When - finally - something happened, the scenes were rushed and without any essence.

Mare??????? I wanted to push off a ledge. She was insufferable. Annoying. SO hot and cold. Narcissistic. I was just over her the majority of the book.
