Had trouble getting into this one but I think it had more to do with being on a trip as I was reading this book. Didn't have a lot of time to really sit and read for extended periods of time. Will continue with the series! ...more

Voltando à origem desta série de quatro livros, no primeiro volume ficamos a conhecer Mare, a nossa protagonista. O melhor do primeiro volume foi conhecer esta personagem, a sua vida familiar, o porquê de ela ser diferente e as dificuldades que ela tinha de enfrentar por ser ter tanto sangue Vermelho como Prateado. Para minha surpresa, gostei do triângulo amoroso do livro, apesar de ser um pouco semelhante ao de "Trono do Vidro". Depois de conhecermos a sua históri ...more

I started this series as an audiobook and have continued. Am looking forward to listening to book #3. I hear there may be a book #4 coming out this year.
This series deals with a future world where there are reds and silvers. The silvers rule and the reds are their slaves. Then there is discovered a group of people that are reds but have silver powers; a mix of the two groups. There is a struggle with who is to rule this world and can the new bloods win and bring both worlds together.
