What Members Thought

survival story... on Mars! Get on this, Hollywood. But do it right. Good writing. Good Science. Good Story. Enjoyed the math/science aspects of it, as well as the humor. You can survive on an uncolonized world. extremed problem solving with duck tape!!! Although there is a lot of technical language, the author makes it understandable, believable and at times funny.

I took a while to finish this book, but that was not because I didn’t like it. I felt like I was really in this story and found myself in differing states of anxiety based on what was happening to Mark Watney. Very well done and happy to finish my Reading Challenge goal with this book.

Not my normal genre, but I so enjoyed the read. At times a PhD would've come in handy, but I just skimmed when necessary...
