An extraordinary story about love. It's poignant and thought provoking. It made me laugh and hope and cry.

a bit slow in the beginning, beautifully emotional and cathartic towards the end.

Ok. Where to start?! I loved this book! It made me laugh, cry, and somewhere in between. I fell in love with the characters. Trying to put myself in the position of Louisa, I'm pretty sure I couldn't have been brave enough to do half of what she did. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and look forward to reading the rest of the authors books, that I have heard good things about as well.

I don't really read romantic books, but I made an exception with this one. Actually the movie trailer got me interested, and as a principle, I always read the book first, and see the movie after. And I wasn't disappointed. The book kept me interested from the beginning. It wasn't a cliché love story. (view spoiler)

A quick, and thoroughly enjoyable, read about a really divisive topic. I loved the characters and just wanted to hang with them for a while. I was impressed that Ms. Moyes maintained the tension so well throughout the novel, despite my early predictions of the ending. I am not sure I want to revisit the characters in "After you" because it was such a satisfying ending. But, I do miss them a bit already.
