Me Before You is a story of two people who under normal circumstances would have never met. Will is a quadriplegic who was once a very successful businessman who was also very adventurous. Lou is a 26 year old woman who has never left her small town and is content with her very small life. Lou is hired to watch Will. It is their story through the ups and downs, the laughter and the tears....and you will have tears.

Wow! I am so glad that this book was suggested for me to read. To say that this booked "sucked me in" would be putting it mildly. There was just something about this book. I felt such a deep connection to the main characters. Even when I wasn't reading the book I was thinking about them. I couldn't help but want life to be easier/better for Will. Though I've never known a paraplegic personally, I do believe this book most likely gives a pretty accurate description of how someone would feel to ha ...more

A quick, and thoroughly enjoyable, read about a really divisive topic. I loved the characters and just wanted to hang with them for a while. I was impressed that Ms. Moyes maintained the tension so well throughout the novel, despite my early predictions of the ending. I am not sure I want to revisit the characters in "After you" because it was such a satisfying ending. But, I do miss them a bit already. ...more
