The Wrath and the Dawn was a good book, but I wasn't amazed by it like I expected to be. I feel like there's a trend now to make YA fantasy novels stretch out into multi-book series that MUST end in cliffhangers, and that doesn't always work for every book. While this book never felt boring, there also wasn't a lot that happened. The narration jumps around to different characters and shows snippets of what they're doing before focusing back on the main character Sharzhad and her new life at the ...more
