I've waited for years to read this book, but I don't know why I put it off this long.
I was pulled right into the story right from the first line. Jane, who endured so much, never let anything defeat her. When most in her situation would have succumbed to the mental exhaustion that she must have been close to feeling.
I was just amazed by these people who played the role of villain in her life, from Mrs. Reed and her horrible children to Mr. Brocklehurst. Thank goodness for the Ms. Temples and H ...more

This book is one of my favorite classics....you have to read it! It is haunting and keep you guessing!
