I've waited for years to read this book, but I don't know why I put it off this long.
I was pulled right into the story right from the first line. Jane, who endured so much, never let anything defeat her. When most in her situation would have succumbed to the mental exhaustion that she must have been close to feeling.

This is the most over-all satisfying book I have ever read. I love this story for so many reasons. But I think what makes me adore it, is that it speaks to my very soul. I love every transcending detail. By far, my favorite book, and one that I will read again and again.
Jane is a complicated amazing character. I usually base my star rating on how I feel after I read the book. Based on the way it made me feel, I only gave it three stars because it was dreary. Based on the writing it self, it deserves five stars.
This book is one of my favorite classics....you have to read it! It is haunting and keep you guessing!
