Reading this book made the issues I'd had with Divergent make more sense. This starts right where Divergent finishes, and they can be seen as a single long story. The world makes a lot more sense when you get to the end of Insurgent, and there is more to be explained in Allegiant (I haven't read it yet, so I cannot be sure whether or not things are explained).

What an emotional ride! For a moment there I was biting my nails, wondering how they were going to get out of this awful mess. Seriously cannot wait to get my hands on book three.

Usually the follow up story is dull and unexciting in my experience. Not with this book. Kudos to Roth for making this book exciting to the last breath at the very end. Revelations flowed masterfully with action keeping us equally entertained and utterly enthused. Let me just say, the end was so exciting, I had to read it three times.
