What I love about this book is that is it finally breaking away from all the Harry Potter similarities! It feels like a refreshing new world which makes it as exciting to read as the first book! wow this one went a few places i wasn't expecting. hades daughter perished quickly, poor Nico. percy really stepped up this one, or at least to me he did. I almost feel bad for Luke in this one, he so chose the wrong team. Zoe's story was actually sad, now i dont blame her for being a bitch.

Thalia, joining the hunters was a twist. Glad Annabeth didn't.

the gods ever illusive and off centered.

Another enjoyable book in this series. It’s very interesting how these books are good ways to introduce mythological stories within each book.
