Finally, I'm done with this book. Whoever said that the PJ books have a lot in common with the HP series was very wrong. The idea overall was nice but the way the story is told is not so great. The pacing was too fast for my taste, and the narrative voice was too childish. I get it, this is meant to be digested by a younger audience, but for crying out loud, this is no longer literature to me. I can't say I liked the characters either. When I first picked up this book I thought this is really grade school book … OK OK to be honest I maybe older but I read MANGA for god sake why not a grade school book and also Harry Potter started as a grade school book and it is one of my all-time favourite series so … I start reading it :)
