I was hovering between 4 and 5 stars for this book. Why? Well, I'll go into that. All the Harry Potter books are pretty epic, but this one deserves a capital letter. It's Epic. That might sound like a good thing, but one of the many factors determining it's epicness is its length. This is a long book that seems to stretch far longer than a normal school year. It drives you mad, it's that good.

I knew I was enjoying this immensely when I would get frustrated at events as they were unfolding. So engrossed was I in the story that I would read for hours at a time. Loved it. Ups, downs, twists, turns, setbacks, victories and defeats... and victories. Good Stuff! ...more
