I am re-reading the series, as I have it in paperback, but wanted to post a small review just to say that even having read this installment before, it's still a brilliant and entertaining story.

I would have posted one for book two but there is something wrong with the review page.

However, this episode reveals many secrets from the past and introduces Sirius Black and Professor Lupin - both great characters important to Harry's development.

This is both my favorite Harry Potter book and movie. I admit, I watched the movie first and the only reason I did that was because Gary Oldman plays Sirius Black and Alan Rickman plays Severus Snape. If it wasn't for either of these actors, I probably wouldn't have bothered with the movies or the books.

What a read!

This book was everything they it was. Now I understand why it was and continues to be such success! Could not put it down,and now I just want to go read the next one!
