Well, I'm kind of cheating here. I DIDN'T finish this! My son Isaac (7) wouldn't wait for me and read it all himself. I'm not going to add the Harry Potter books any more. I DID enjoy the bits of this I read, but I don't think it's a series I'd read to myself. Partly because I've seen the films, partly because I prefer more adult fiction. (I really enjoyed A Game of Thrones much more than Harry Potter.) However, I HAVE to give this 5 stars, because Isaac loved it. He would NOT put it down. He ce ...more

Pressing on. Engrossing in every way. Some tragedy that made me nervous, and seems a bit darker in tone, but could not put it down. What's there to say that millions don't know already. Good Stuff abounds. Love it! ...more
