I enjoyed this by audiobook for the first time. So much fun to come back to a lifelong favorite in a new way.

Updates: I decided to reread the first in October before rereading the rest of the series again.

Book two introduces us to a wonderful character, Dobby, and highlights just how horrible some wizards can be.

Great adventure and filled with magic and fun.

Highly recommended.

March 2019 Listening to this again made me realize just how important book two is to the rest of the stories, especially books 6 and 7. Totally fascinating all over again!!

I recently listened to this with my youngest kids and it was so fun to share the adventure with them. I LOVE these books. They are the perfect magical adventure.
