I am not a teen fiction reader, but this book was okay. I still don't really know what the ants stand for, and I'm not sure that every kid is "Lucky" enough to have such a strong support system.

This is the best YA book I've read for awhile. I'm realizing I'm a sucker for realistic fiction - but this one took so many risks with the realistic title...
If any teacher dares use literature to combat the problem with bullying (a dangerous task) - this is the sophisticated book to do it. It addresses issues from all sides, and gives a strength and a voice to those bullied without ever once being a book "about" bullying... it's fabulous.
