oliver jonathan spring you will always be famous
Shoutout to Alice Oseman and her books for making 2020 far less miserable for me! I like to read a Christmas-related book every Christmas Eve, and I put off reading This Winter for months to save it for that, and it did not disappoint. I love the Spring family and Nick with my entire heart, and this really captured both the good and bad aspects of Christmas day celebrations. Plus any Tori content makes my heart grow a size like the Grinch.
i enjoyed the three povs for each individual spring (tori, charlie, and oliver) but overall conflict bothered me as much as it upset the main characters. i loved the bits with nick and charlie and oliver's narrations, but the novella definitely wasn't my absolute favourite. i still enjoyed reading it though !!!
