Shelves: essential, owned, classics-and-such
I understand why it's famous but it took me ages to get through. Orwell's writing is undeniably brilliant, well thought out and structured. However, lots of the time, it was too easy to put down and leave behind for a week or two. Would recommend but not as enthusiastically as everyone else did to me ;) ...more
