i am henry, henry is me. god i love this type of pov so much, i will defend third person limited with my life. alex’s relationship with his family and friends is so fun to read. literally the funniest character. but god i love henry with my whole heart. the emails??? don’t even get me started on that. he’s a fucking literature god. if someone sent me an email like the ones henry sent alex, i would die in the spot. instant mariage. i understand why some people wouldn’t like this book, but i perso

ok ok ok THIS WAS SO CUTE. i just loved alex and henry and it was just ugh i love them. and honestly tbh the side characters carried this book. if you’re a character driven reader you would loooooove this book. buuuut. halfway through the book, i got a little annoyed because of an aspect of the story and the romance. it ended up being fine though, because the end made up for it. i highly recommend this book, and i would recommend this to any romcom lover. its not too spicy either! its mai ...more

I read this for the first time two years ago, and it was such a comfort and escape from the reality of our world that I immediately reread it. Now, having read it for the third time, I loved it just as much. It’s like a warm embrace, after bearing witness to and being impacted by s political reality grossly different from this one. The love, the handling of grief, the characters, the humor, the fear over the future, all of it still feels elegantly raw and real, inside this slightly more optimist

Yeah, I definitely get the hype. This was genuinely so entertaining and heartwarming, it has become one of my new comfort reads.

Nothing could have prepared me for this masterpiece. Such an important book. Felt all the emotions while reading this wow. The characters the emails the music references the overall message the everything. perfect.
