This was a very nostalgic read for me (as it is for many), since I also saw a lot of film adaptations for this one, when I was a child. My favourite one was the one with Mickey Mouse, I believe.
I tried to read this in english, but I had a really hard time, so I switched to german before the first ghost came around, which was much better for me. The story is nice, I like the message that it gives the reader, it teaches compassion. Even though the change the main character went through is almost ...more

Happy Christmas Everyone!

Finishing up a Christmas classic reread this evening. I love A Christmas Carol and the message behind it that anyone can change no matter how horrible or unreedemable they might seem.

Reasons I Recommend:

1) A Christmas classic with ghosts and lessons on how a little kindness can go a long way

2) One of my favourite classics (still love the Muppet film version best) and

3) God Bless Us, Every One!
