What Members Thought
This was a rare book that my daughter actually recommended to me. My daughter is not a reader, she likes audio books knows. This book she was forced to read in school. She has been trying to get me to read it ever since. She said I would love the elephant. She was right I did. I really did. I love books that are in the setting that is not really talked about, the worker side of a circus. I have always wondered what it be like to live in that life. Brunch today was at Butterfingers - delicious - and we talked about Water for Elephants. It's one of those books that I really liked, but didn't have too much to say about. The parallel with the Biblical Jacob was interesting, though I wouldn't have noticed it if the questions in the book guide at the back hadn't pointed it out.
