A story which definitely needed to be told for the importance of these cells and the injustice carried towards this woman and her family. The only critics I can make to it is if you don’t have the biology knowledge you might find it a bit boring.

When I first started reading this book I found it very interesting. The story is really about the author's experience in learning about Henrietta Lacks family and going about finding them and interviewing them. But when I got to about half way to 3/4 of the way through the book I started to lose interest. There seemed to be a lot of repeating of what the characters say, over and over,and I was getting tired of the story being mostly about the author/journalist.
