This is the book I chose for the 2016 genre challenge. January - Contemporary/literary merit.

A very weird book. It was good to finally read The Picture of Dorian Gray since it is a classic. Very interesting and quite fun to read. Would be interesting to be young forever and have only your portrait age.

Would recommend for anyone who wants to read classic novels.

Has anyone watched the movie adaptations? I want to watch the one with Ben Barnes.

I gave it half a star, but was being generous for putting it a full star. I absolutely HATED this book. The characters were so despicable, and their actions horrified and made me so angry. I wanted to strangle almost all of the characters. The only one I even slightly liked was Basil.

Unbelievable! Simply unbelievable!

It was a little slow for me in the beginning but around halfway through it started picking up the pace and quickly. It had the most amazing ending. It was sad, but still perfect.

So happy I finally read it!!
